Our classes welcome every level of wine lover—from beginners learning how to taste, to enthusiasts exploring wine regions around France. In a relaxed and approachable setting, FCW makes wine education fun, engaging, and easy to enjoy.
Meet Your Instructor…
Meredith Eckard
A Certified French Wine Scholar (FWS) and WSET Level III, Meredith is a wine enthusiast with a deep appreciation for global cultures—especially French. When she isn’t exploring new Champagnes, she holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and works as an early literacy curriculum writer for a national charter school network. A native Californian, she combines her love of wine, travel, and education to connect with others and share her passion for the world in a meaningful way.

We offer Complimentary In-Store Wine Tastings every Saturday from 12-5pm! You’ll also find us co-hosting wine dinners, doing pop-ups at community events, and hosting the meet and greets with the winemakers in our store!
We mean it when we say we cultivate relationships with the winemakers we feature on our shelves. Our family has been lucky to call many of them our friends. We often have them come visit the store and meet our customers themselves!
