 Domaine Franck Millet
A little over 2 hours south of Paris, this domaine occupies 22 hectares (54 acres) of the 2,700 hectares (6,700 acres) of the Sancerre applelation. Three generations of winemakers have elaborated medal-winning wines from this terroir.
Franck Millet Rosé 2017 (#23-33)

From Limestone-Clay soil, this Sancerre Rosé is a blend of pressed and bled juice. The grapes pressed at harvest produce the pressed juice and the bled juice is the product of skin maceration. The must is then settled and low temperature fermentation begins. Light filtration and stainless steel tank aging.

Grape: Pinot Noir 100%

Region: Loire Valley Vineyard:  Domaine Franck Millet
Franck Millet Sancerre Blanc 2017 (#23-32)

A powerful nose with aromatic qualities that are very representative of the limestone-clay soil found in the village of Bué. The wine has good acidity from the young vintage while at the same time displaying a surprising suppleness and roundness. This wine has a very long finish.

Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc

Pairings: White fish with a citrus sauce, lobster, scallops, white meats

Region: Loire Valley Vineyard:  Domaine Franck Millet
